1) Museo Kordilyera
The Museo Kordilyera is the first ethnographic museum in Northern Luzon built to preserve and display the cultural heritage of Cordillerans. Learn about Cordillera culture at the UP Baguio which provides education on local history, culture, arts, and crafts.
2) Baguio Media Newseum
The Baguio Media Newsuem or the Art Tibaldo Museum is an interactive exhibit that showcases old and new media methods and techniques. These allow visitors to experience how media is used in different ways. The museum houses a collection of vintage media tools and equipment, even a fully operational radio announcer’s booth!
3) SLU Museum of Arts & Cultures
The SLU Museum of Arts & Cultures features exhibitions that showcase metalworks, clothing, accessories, ceremonial objects, weapons, farming tools, and kitchenware of Cordillera’s tribes. Most exhibits and artifacts are from the university’s students and their families studying anthropology and museology courses.
4) Emilio F. Aguinaldo Baguio Museum
Direct descendants of former Philippine President Emilio Aguinaldo are managing the museum, housing the first Philippine flag. Keeping the flag safe is in line with the museum’s goals and mission to express patriotism. Aside from the flag, the museum also showcases the first presidential table and statues of other National heroes.
5) Bell House Library Museum
General Franklin Bell designed the Bell House Museum in 1903 as a rest house. Its American-style design and cozy interiors will impress art and architecture enthusiasts. You may also visit the Cemetery of Negativity which is part of Camp John Hay’s historical core.
