Numerous professionals join the competitive and frantic to real estate sales industry for the money only to discover that it’s not true for them. Before you jump in and start looking for opportunities, you should consider the following information to be sure that a career in real estate sales is the right choice for you.

High Earning Potential

Let’s start with the topic you’re actually interested in learning about cash. The possibility of earning significantly more money than most other careers is one of the most alluring and alluring reasons people desire a career in sales, especially in the real estate industry. The average monthly earning potential for real estate sales professionals in the Philippines is if they have a quota of Php3,000,000.00 per month then a potential of Php90,000.00 professional fee collectibles.

Despite the fact that the most successful ones might earn more than Php200,000.00 to Php300,000.00 or even more per month. You will never anticipate the income potential in the real estate industry even if you are just starting. This is only possible if you have the will to close sales monthly and hit your company or your personal quota.

The compensation package for many real estate sales professionals may be fairly significant. Though, they frequently also include sales incentives, commission, car allowances, and other perks. Naturally, the kind of real estate sales position you have will vary to the company you work for, and the sales incentive plan provided will all affect how much money you make. If you want to make a lot of money from your labor, a commission-based compensation plan is appropriate to demand if you are working for a development or real estate company.

Flexible Schedule

The high degree of independence and flexibility that come with the real estate profession, especially if you’re an outside sales commissioned real estate salesperson or broker, is another fantastic benefit of a career in sales.  Real Estate Sales would be an excellent industry to enter if you dislike spending your days in a cubicle.

Your job life won’t get dull because you’ll be out exploring and seeing the world (niche marketplace to be specific). Additionally, you won’t always have a demanding employer hovering over you.

However, more flexibility isn’t necessarily a good thing. Being on the road all the time might get isolating. You can miss out on time with your loved ones, friends, and social circle. You might be working through the night. To determine your own schedule, you must also possess a strong sense of self-motivation and accountability.

Constant Pressure

In addition to being extremely competitive and stressful, a career in real estate sales may be tremendously lucrative. To deliver on your numbers, you’ll have a lot of accountability and obligation on your shoulders. This kind of high-stress situation suits some people better than others, but not everyone.

Also, in the real estate industry, you should have a little know-how about everything like laws, document processes, land surveys, architectural designs, and basic engineering.

The real estate profession demands the know-how of every part of the industry for you to be able to explain in layman’s terms to your potential clients the real estate product you are selling in a good and convincing way.

Routine Tasks

A real estate sales professional’s daily responsibilities vary and are determined by the position and the company you are affiliated with if it is a developer or a real estate marketing company. However, the basic objective is constant: it is your responsibility to generate business and generate profits for the organization. Prospecting is a major component of sales and can be tedious.

Creating personal presentations and keeping up with spreadsheets are two more administrative activities that could take up a lot of your time. You might need to make daily cold calls to strangers. Or you might be off exploring your niche area. It is more likely that you will have a lot of responsibilities to manage the smaller the company you work for.

Not everyone is suited for a career in real estate sales. Despite the fact that some individuals succeed in this industry, others are at most mediocre, and still, others are unable to sell anything to anyone. To determine if the real estate career in the Philippines is good for you, take into account all aspects of it, including the benefits, negatives, and regular chores, in addition to the pay or allowance you receive.

Working The Extra Mile

Sometimes you will have clients that will test your patience and determination just to close them. You will encounter clients from hell for sure and if you close them they will certainly ask for many favors which are not already within the scope of your work. These will test your grind and at the end of the day, you will still enjoy your well-earned commission.

Working the extra mile will help you in your career. An example is a story of mine, I closed a young couple who just bought a house inside a subdivision here in Baguio City. Then after a few days have gone by they suddenly called me because they don’t know anyone to help them (they are still new in Baguio City).

The truck that they hired did not come and all of their appliances and stuff are on the street. So I called my neighbor who has a for-hire trucking business and luckily he has one available on that day.

That day they successfully move their stuff and are very happy and thankful that I have helped them. Today, they have successfully referred 3 clients to me and I am also very grateful to them.

Conclusion

Being a good Salesman in the Real Estate Industry takes a lifetime to master. The never-ending negotiations, prospecting, networking, and convincing a stranger to trust you to buy your real estate product is an everyday task. This is enjoyable to some but I know it is not for everyone. A career path in the real estate sales industry is not a choice it determines if you are the chosen one.

I have seen many people join the real estate industry but only a few manage to stay and for those who stayed they always enjoy the fruits of their labor.
