4. Government Support

Ika nga, the more, the merrier, at ganun din ang gobyerno when it comes to supporting the city’s real estate sector. The local government encourages investors by providing incentives such as tax holidays, reduced fees, and simplified processes.

In addition, various infrastructural projects like roads, bridges, and transportation hubs further enhance the city’s attractiveness as a real estate hotspot. Surely, kung may suporta, walang tatalo sa ‘yo!

Which big name real state companies currently have developments in Baguio?

    • Almost all, Megaworld is one of their subsidiary Suntrust. Others are DMCI, Vistaland, Brittany, Moldex, Sta Lucia, and many other local developers also. The only developer that has no development YET are SMDC, RLC at no new development is Ayala.

We own 2 Baguio lots. Both are occupied by squatters. We’ve been trying legally to get them evicted but government bureaucracy is holding up that process. It seems the squatters have more rights than the owners themselves. We’re in the process of selling these two properties but we’re getting bogged down with this eviction.

Any comments or recommendations to remediate or expedite this issue? Do you have any contacts with the local officials there that we can reach out to?

    Thanks in advance.
